song of hope
song of hope
Rumour has it that the typist is shedded out, to coin a phase, and is about to record a favourite poem hope is thing with feathers by Emily Dickinson
as a song. Any chance that Lady Penny Lope will have time at her art class to perpetrate illustrations?

Of course i never touch a pencil with my delicate, refined hands, but i could ask an artist currently in my employ. Mike L. Angelo is painting the ceiling of the Douchebag Chapel. It's a lovely work. A large scene of his Lordship and i looking down upon the commoners in their utter and profound servility. You must come view it some day.

Profound servility - could be the name of a pedigree dog ...
I look forward to Mike's etchings. The proposed song goes:
intro
verse1
verse2
verse3
verse2
verse1
outro
intro and outro being instrumental.
Of course, once it's been perpetrated it may turn out completely differently ...
PandS i've had to buy a new saw; the old one is worn out (so am I) :)
My word! Worn out your saw? You're a building fiend i must say. I have a question of utmost importance. The walls, floor or roof trusses mean nothing without the following---is there an electric hook-up going to the cabin? How would one plug in a hotplate to heat their kettle for tea without one?? Write without tea? It would be like painting without a brush, talking without a throat. I shudder to think of it.

shudder ye not, madam,
There are 2 options being debated - either get a collie and train it to run up the path to the fridge and kettle every half hour, or lay on the mains :)
The hunt for a good pup continues. I'd like a collie so that i can train it to round up the local escaped sheep (Sally used to) and race me on my bike. I had a very near miss t'other day; almost found a perfect dog but the bitches had all gone, only male critters left. The male dogs don't appeal, becoz if my next dog turns out as good as Sal, then I'll be hoping for a litter.
A litter? Oh dear, you must not have the problem there that they do in the states. So many dogs without good homes that thousands are euthanized each year. A problem without solution I'm afraid.

Many dogs are made homeless in the UK by the witless and irresponsible; nearly all of them are re-homed by the kindly and responsible. I keep hoping the good will outweigh the bad, in pets and all other areas of 'civilisation'. there are loads of charities in the UK that care for and find new homes for unwanted pets. It doesn't have to break the bank of ordinary folk, provided they remember to leave something in their will.
Here endeth today's sermon :)
Mike has finished your panels. They're in the General Direction blog.

PS how did you hear of the new goog alternative?
I read about it in the local newspaper. ~~Mr. Cuil
