short-satire-poem-escape-to-zimbabwe - psychology of conflict
Peter says:
I thought I had done! I don't think I've labeled them very well on this blog, so I'll do that now. or both. I hope this helps. Personally I can't really separate conflict from psychology. Nearly all wars appear idiotic in hindsight, even to those who were most enthusiastic. This surely says a lot about our inadequate insight in times of stress.
There was one successful war - the cold war: it dragged on for so long, without weapons being used, that the psychological projections all failed and everyone realised 'us' and 'them' are alarmingly similar.
I suspect any well-nurtured child of five could have told the alleged adults that in the first place.
